In what comes as a major blow to Arsenal, 18 year-old wonderkid Gabriel Martinelli is set to miss the rest of the season with an injury suffered to his left knee in training.
The Brazilian international has undergone has a successful arthroscopic procedure on his knee and will be on the sidelines for the reminder of this season. Whilst no return date has been explicitly mentioned, we do hope that Gabby will return in time for pre-season.
While Martinelli hasn’t featured since project restart began, he was due to take part in the coming games as per We wish the player a speedy recovery.
There is a clear correlation between players having game time and injuries. When they don’t play regularly, they are more sceptical to injuries. Reasons, they are unfit, but also they want to please a coach & work/risk even when it’s not necessary.
